Mission Statement
The White Press is a youth-led writing and publishing organization that brings young writers together to create, collaborate, and publish original work.
Our name reflects the white blank page where every story begins and the press that transforms ideas into finished publications.
Our purpose is to provide a supportive space for emerging voices, encourage creative growth, and produce books that bridge the power of young writers’ perspectives.
We don’t wait to be heard. We build the bridges that make voices matter.

What We Do
The White Press identifies exceptional young writers and turns their voices into connection.
We expand access through Braille books and audiobooks, bring stories to children in the Philippines, Cambodia, and Kenya, and collaborate with young artists with disabilities to reimagine what a book can be.
We have also shared a portion of our publishing proceeds with children in Kenya and donated books to local and disability-focused libraries, ensuring that stories do not remain abstract but reach real people.
Because literature shouldn’t stop at empathy.
It should move people toward one another.
We don’t just publish.
We make voices travel, connect, and change the way people understand one another.
And this work doesn’t stop. It only grows.
